Alright, during a competition I had today another school began a debate over whether or not Jedi or X-men would win in an ultimate battle. I'm sort of stumped, but feel free to post which you think and why you have come to the conclusion, just no heated arguments, please. I'm just curious. :-)

Completely depends on the power of the X-Man (that looks weird xD) Or do you mean multiple X-Men agiainst multiple Jedi?

Multiple X-men against multiple Jedi. In other words, if every X-man allied and every Jedi from any of the Star Wars aligned, then had an ultimate battle, who would win?
I know, I was asking the same question. LOL :-)

Definately a hard one to answer.. But I'd say X-Men, mainly because all of them together have more powers, where as Jedi are limited to their powers? And also because I like X-Men better ;P It would be a very close battle for sure though.. xD

Mrr... I'd have to say X-Men. Jedi have neato mind control powers, but so do some X-Men, so it would become null, or at least less of a threat. I mean, it seems to me that Xavier could take on like ten Jedi at a time and win, so Jean Gray would be able to eliminate alot more... I also agree with Xoops, X-Men have a variety of powers; and X-Men are just plain cooler.

LOL
As far as I'm concerned, Xavier and the Jedi would be at least equal matches. And Jean... well... you get the idea. Plus, I'm not sure what lightsabers are supposed to be made from (the hilt), and if its metal and not some sort of plastic, then Magneto could easily take the lightsabers from the Jedi.
The biggest way I could see Jedi winning is if they got a hold of that vaccine that supresses the mutant gene and target the major mutants first, then attack. Otherwise they would be unlikely to win.
At least, that's my thoughts. :-)

Forgot about the whole Magneto - metal - lightsabers thing xD And Jean destroyed all the vaccines as they came at her, so I'm sure if the Jedi got a hold of them, she could easily destroy them too ^^ Also depends if you go by after the last movie? So like a battle between the 2 would be afterwards, because Magneto, Xavier, and Jean are all gone (well Magneto just doesn't have his powers). It would probably be a bit harder for the X-Men to win in this case (Now I'm just getting picky )

LOL
I had forgotten about Jean destroying the vaccines. She would probably be the Jedi's biggest problem. I think the people I were talking to meant basicly any X-men from any time point, including the comic books (Which I haven't read, so I can't really use info from there.). Now if it were the Sith fighting the X-men, I'm guessing there would be a differnt outcome, probably with the Sith trying to convert some of the mutants over to their side, such as Jean. Whether that would work or not I don't know.

Lol. Yeah I figured its just at any time point (thought I'd throw it in though ) I know quite a bit about them, never read the comics, but I have a friend who knows everything xD And if it were Sith fighting, I still think X-Men would win, it would just be a tougher battle (with the whole converting thing xD), because even though Sith are stronger they still don't have a wide range of powers.
