Nah, no instrument for me. I actually have wanted to play the violin for years, something I'd like to learn before I die kinda thing xD Meh. Maybe one day.

Well, they're alot of hard work. My mom nags on me every time I slack off. I understand the "before you die" thing... There's alot of things on that list. And Tina, I know someone who plays the guitar (actually one of my best friends in real life) and they say it's really hard. So I don't blame you.

I used to play the piano (for about 10 years) and the flute.
And I've had lessons for guitar and violin too.
I sound really musical, but I'm not really D:

I used to play piano for the longest time, This year I quit playing flute in our school's band- it was a good choice becuase our director turned out to be a pedifile!! :S

D= My friend plays the flute... then again all my friends play an instrument... Truthfully, I wasn't going to play at all, but my friend (that plays thy flute) nagged me into it. Well-- here I am!

I play guitar.. very serious about it  i got 7 different guitars.. always hunting for the special 8th. I'm careful with what I buy and how I modify it. I play the harmonica (haha, it's great) the piano and I'm trying to -somehow- get a cello (i still live with my parents so my mother is extremely judgmental of what i buy), and learn that too. I'm all self taught, however I've always received tips and what not from my friends concerning guitar. guitar is easy to play chords and what not, but getting to the harder things like scales, arpeggios, and things along those sounds, it gets tough (takes more than a lot of practice and hand trainning)-- especially for women considering we have smaller hands and things like that require precise finger stretching lol. |

i have a Johnson acoustic right now, i've been taking lessons for almost 6 months now, and I'm doing really good =D it's only a $75 instrument but it's light, the strings are low, the neck is just the right length and it sounds amazing. everyone loves it that's played it.
This Christmas i hope to buy me an elec so i can actually use my awesome checkered strap. I have my eye set on either a red Schecter or a black and white Ibanez. I really liked the Ibanez better <3
I took piano lessons for like 4 years but it got old fast (and i didn't like my teacher,) and i can only play a few songs; only the ones she taught me. what's the fun in that??
i can play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on the recorder x3

Oooh is that black and white ibanez RG? Black hardware, white body? I love that model. I got the pearl black RGT42 neck thru with an edge pro bridge.. and out of all my guitars (including a Gibson Les Paul) it's my favorite to play I strooooongly encourage ibanez guitars <3 Especially the RG models with the tremelo bridges |

heh...I've always wanted to play the guitar. Every time I tried, it hurt my fingers. I guess I'm not cut out for it... I've been playing the piano for 7 years, and I love it. <3 My piano teacher says I go too fast, but I try to slow down. I love to play songs from movie soundtracks such as Lord of the Rings. ^_^ |

Until you build up callouses on your fingers, the strings irritate and make your fingertips extreeemely sore. Stick with it, and it only gets better |
